RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Providing leadership and oversight in planning and conducting of student assessments (students and teachers);
· Planning and leading wide range of research activities on education covering curriculum, textbooks, teacher education and professional development, teaching and learning, in-school and out-of-school factors impacting student learning, examinations, etc.
· Developing research reports for all stakeholders in the education sector;
· Coordination and advising the partners in implementing relevant activities in the field
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Providing leadership, advice, supervision, and control in developing and reviewing scheme of studies, standards and contents of curricula, syllabi, approval of textbooks and additional learning materials for use in the schools throughout the Province.

· Align the existing teachers standards to the emerging trends of the society
· Disseminate the mentioned standards to relevant stakeholders
